I waver back and forth on it. What I can say with some certainty is that for the asking price on Humble Bundle, even if you’re just curious about PF, it’s a fantastic deal. The books above are a pretty fabulous resource to have in general, and can certainly be made to work with FG (the less you veer from Pathfinder “Core,” the better its default 3.5 ruleset should handle it without tinkering), but they’re also not a match made in heaven (say, like, 5E, which is an officially supported product with loads of high-quality, well-integrated product packages available for sale within FG).Īnyway, depending on what you want to do, all of that might be neither here nor there (and not being a Fantasy Grounds expert, I might also be wildly under- or over-estimating the issues you could face trying to run a really advanced PF scenario with that software). There’s some community folks who convert and roll out packs based on some PF rules expansions and such for it, but IIRC it’s pretty incomplete.

As I recall, getting Pathfinder running “properly” in Fantasy Grounds is a bit hacky (like D&D 3.5 and the rest of its kin, PF’s exceedingly mathy and kind of all hangs together or falls apart separated) since a lot of the modules/rules expansions haven’t been officially integrated into FG by the dev team.
